Music Generation Galway County is a new music education service for children and young people in County Galway to address access to instrumental and vocal tuition and performance by children and young people in their own communities. ​ 

It is part of Music Generation – Ireland’s National Music Education Programme, initiated by Music Network and co-funded by U2, The Ireland Funds, The Department of Education and Skills. 

Music Generation Galway County is funded locally by lead partner Galway and Roscommon Education and Training Board (GRETB), Galway County Council, Galway Rural Development, Foróige, Youth Work Ireland Galway, Involve, FORUM Connemara, Tusla, Ealaín na Gaeltachta and Galway 2020.
